Refrigerator Water & Ice Filter

The MWFP filter is a twist-in cartridge used in many GE and affiliated brand refrigerators to purify water and ice. It helps reduce contaminants and improve taste and safety of dispensed water.

Key Features

• Filters and reduces chlorine taste/odor, lead, cysts, and traces of five pharmaceuticals (e.g. ibuprofen, trimethoprim, fluoxetine, progesterone, atenolol).

• Uses a carbon block filtration medium and is rated for approximately 300 gallons or 6 months of use under normal conditions.

• Operates with a twist-lock installation, requiring no tools or mess for replacement.

• Engineered to match factory specifications including flow rate (≈ 0.5 gpm), pressure range (40–120 psi), and filter footprint.

• Compatible with many GE, Hotpoint, and Kenmore refrigerators using the MWF / MWFP series; replaces the older MWF style filter.
